News roundup

Here are some stories that caught my interest.

Halfway through this article Blackmon admits that the team took Syracuse for granted last year. How? I should let this go by now, but how can you underestimate an opponent with so much on the line? There is a lot of blame to go around. Hopefully they can make amends this season and erase any memory of last year.

In the AJC’s notebook TOB says"I think it's important that you go out and play the best non-conference opponents you can play." If that is how he feels, can someone explain why we are playing Maine, Buffalo and Kent State next season?

The Tallahassee Democrat led with Quinton Porter on their ACC notebook. The Heights also started their season coverage with a Porter feature.

The Boston Channel published a BC-Army preview.

Here is some more info on the Black Knights.

Finally in a blogpoll note, the San Jose Mercury-News highlighted MGoBlog, EDSBS, Fanblogs and BGS as some of the better college football blogs.

That game is the most embarassed I've ever been as a sports fan...and I pulled for the Buffalo Bills for some years.

Blackmon comments are now so common that no one is surprised to check the new post. Few people comment on such thing and give their opinion. Even bestessays.com customer reviews and many other publications make the people more aware about the opponents.
