Anderson and Herzy honored and other links

Paul Anderson and Mark Herzlich both received ACC weekly awards.

The Wake Forest game will be a 3:30 start with regional coverage on ABC.

One of BC's top targets, Davon Custis, is saying very good things about the program and his status.

As frustrated as I am with the situation, I did chuckle at Jags' response to HD on our kicking.

Current redshirt Bryan Murray is handling his season on the sidelines well.

At the end of this article, it mentions BC's deal with Under Armour. Has that been confirmed anywhere? I think many fans would be excited to see us move from Reebok to UA. Click-clack!

Larry Brown wants Dudley more involved in the offense. (Thanks to John G. for the link.)

Jamal Mtshali visited BC for the Notre Dame game.

Mass lineman Shad Sommers is hoping for a BC offer.

You can vote for Matt Ryan as the "Next" on espn.com.

Haven't heard about the BC-UA deal, but I do know that Maryland is moving to UA basketball unis too.

We must protect this house.

I think our deal with UA is strictly that they can produce BC related gear... go to the bookstore, they have tons of it.

I think 2 or 3 years ago we signed an extension with reebok, but I know that a bunch of the players don't like the Reebok cleats and wear their own (you'll see tape over the logos). It drives the equipment room and Rbk nuts. We also wear the regular UA gear.. the long sleeves and stuff..

I am not opposed to reebok gear, i mean they outfit the NFL soo.....

I am however all for authentic gear in the bookstore. Since 2000 i have been aching to get myself into an authentic football or basketball jersey. Unfortunately BC, reebok, and the powers that be have limited bookstore apparel to rinky dink replicas or off-colored clothing such as our new "maroon" or red t-shirts.
Whatever deal we sign, put authentics in the bookstore. Finally we have a coaches polo and some player issued sweatshirts.

I know our soccer teams have moved to UA, but as of now i think we are still with Reebok for atleast 4 years.

We don't want to be spoilers after this weekend - we need to be nervous and prepared - and somehow pull off a victory in Tallahassee. The Seminoles have beaten us twice at Chestnut Hill by the same score, really 28-17 and 27-17. I thought we were clearly the better team in 06, and the 'Noles still managed to keep it close. We have to play error free football for sure and move the ball steadily enough to give our defense time to rest.

I will say this - if we win Saturday night, I like our chances all the way to Tampa.

I keep asking but get no replies - how is Clarence Megwa doing? Has he been operated on yet? I'm worried about this player.

How about Toal and Albright? I am assuming that McCluskey's break wasn't too complicated, but I don't know.

Maybe the switch to Under Armour will be accompanied by a change back to the old "block-style" numbers and letters on the uniforms. This italicized crap has got to go...

I think the statement about rights to clothes in the bookstore is true.

I personally like the Reebok affiliation. BC is the only major D1 team that wears reebok and I like that they have such a unique affiliation. The NFL gear is solid and its cool to see the same stuff on the NFL sideline with the BC logo on it

Reebok is headquarted in Mass. BC should stick with Reebok.

The players hate the Reebok. Back when the hockey team was still with Nike, both the football and the basketball players would do all sorts of favors for the hockey guys, just to get access to the swooshed goods.

I tend to agree that Reebok puts out garbage goods. If it weren't for the Hassleback connection, I doubt BC would be aligned with them.

With that said, I think UA is the one company that makes bigger garbage than Reebok, no matter what the perception is.

Status update on Clarence Megwa:

I heard from Chris Cameron, Associate Athletic Director - Media Relations who informed me that "Clarence is doing well. He actually had his surgery and is on the road to recovery. The other players (Albright, Toal and McCluskey) are recovering as well.
