Three baseball Eagles drafted

The 2017 MLB Draft was a nice endorsement for BC Baseball. Three different players were drafted. The Dodgers took Donovan Casey in the 20th round. Two rounds later, the Mariners took Johnny Adams. Finally, in the 33rd round, the Phillies drafted pitcher Jacob Stevens.

When taken in these rounds, no one is expecting a quick rise to the majors. However, MLB teams using more and more draft picks and resources on BC guys is a good thing. Hopefully the new facilities improve BC's talent pool that much more.
